The focal point of Crystals at CityCenter’s signature spaces is the Grand Staircase, inspired by Rome’s Spanish Steps. It consists of three separate staircases, all dresses with red Sapele wood. Ascending 24 feet from the main floor to The Pods by Wolfgang Puck, the stairs are build fromeco-friendly bamboo and uses risers of pink agate that are backlit for maximum visual effect.
The awe-inspiring Treehouse in the heart of Crystals at CityCenter rises up three stories in height and is visible from almost ever location. The “roots” of the tree intertwine to for the Concierge Desk, where an expert staff serves as fashion consultants, personal shoppers and more. The upper level of the Treehouse provides an elegant portal of wood-lined lowered ceilings and meandering walls offering a unique space for Mastro’s Ocean Club’s main dining room. The expansive interior of the Treehouse features curved white leather booths and mahogany beams and Sapele wood. On the dining terrace, Mastro’s offers views of the angular shapes, towering ceilings and the unique artistic elements of Crystals at CityCenter.
One of the five cutting-edge water features found in CityCenter is Glacia. A first-of-its-kind installation, large pillars of carved ice rise as tall as 15 feet in Crystals’ unique public space. These columns emerge silently from a pristine pool, ascending rapidly upward as immense monoliths of frozen water. As each ice monument rises, it is carved at water level into intricate, three-dimensional patterns. Colored lighting combines with the varied ice clarities to produce a visual experience that never repeats itself.
