A hypnotizing dance of fire circles the runway while an equestrian atmosphere inspires the Fall accessories collection. The Cavalli woman is modern Lee Miller, the muse of Man Ray and of the most hypnotic debut du siècle. A time of sinuous outrageousness, revisited today by Roberto Cavalli with complex workmanship. The femininity of the twenties and the geometry of the thirties weaves in and out of the Fall collection featuring exquisite materials and sophisticated design for a modern luxury.

If 2014 will be remembered for anything, fashion-wise, it will undoubtedly be for the rise of the sneaker!
When the urban universe meets Dior’s ultra-feminine style, the perfect marriage of ancestral techniques and absolute modernity evolved to create the Dior Fusion Sneaker. Similar to the Speedo shoes, Dior has translated the shoes into street savvy sneakers ready to slip on your feet and go. Ergonomically shaped details with high performance technical fabric and of course unique couture style! Embroideries inspired by Christian Dior’s passion for gardens and flowers, the fusion sneakers are accessorized with ribbons and bows in harmonious colors.
The Dior boutique at The Shops at Crystals is the first in Vegas (third in Country) to have the Dior Fusion Sneakers arrive. Each contemporary design is a fusion of couture details and fashionable comfort. They come in five total combinations. Valued at $1,100, ranging in sizes 35 to 41, these sneakers are sure to make a statement!
Celebrities and style devotees descended in Paris July 6 to 10 for the Haute Couture shows. The gowns that made their way down the runways of these elaborate fetes are the same looks that will be on red carpets throughout the season. Here are three trends that we can count on weaving their way into the fashion vernacular.
1. The Age of Innocence
Forget the all-too-modern Age of Aquarius; decadence is upon us in the form of grand bell skirts and ornate details such as beading and embroidery. Christian Dior showed a range of styles from the exaggerated to the subdued. On the opposite end, there were plenty of zippered jumpsuits to juxtapose the 19th century sensibility of the gowns. We have Edith to thank for all this romance.
2. The Fabulous Fifties
Bone-waisted jackets with rounded shoulders kicked off Atelier Versace, indicative of a post-WWII-Atomic-Age style we haven’t seen on the runway in recent years. There were plenty of the buckles and an artful mix of fabrics—one of the signatures of the Italian design house. Most stunning were the dresses, which all put focus on one leg. Bodysuits were strapped into gowns with reams and reams of buttery silks, and T-shirts were bedazzled and bejeweled. There is nothing matte; it’s time to shine.
3. Back to Nature
Valentino’s presentation epitomized how you should dress on those days when you feel like a cross between a Greek goddess and a woodland fairy. Toga-inspired gowns, leather straps as belts and on sandals, and feathers, tulle and rich gold lace added an aviary touch to stunning couture pieces, channeling the splendid Earth Mother inside us all. The new organic is decadent and ripe.
