Rene Lalique started his career as a jeweler and distinguished himself as an alchemist of substances: mixing light, color and emotion. Today, LALIQUE's new fashion jewelry collection continues the poetic exploration of myths, carried away by the four elements of nature: Water, Air, Earth and Fire. Materials and colors harmonized through clean and graphic lines create perfection in design. Through silver, vermeil, crystal and lacquer, the House of Lalique captures our passions.

Natalie Portman, the famed oscar-winning American actress and worldwide partner of the brand since 2011, unveils the first watch designed and created together with Richard Mille, embodied in the Tourbillon RM 19-01 Natalie Portman. For this first collaboration, Natalie Portman set her mind on an image combining strong associations and complex undertones expressed by a diamond studded and encrusted tracery based upon the image of a spider. A mistress of fate and weaver of reality, the spider is the symbol of the soul but also freedom. The RM19-01 manual winding tourbillon caliber is assembled around a black rhodium-plated, 18K white gold black sapphire set baseplate, a first for Richard Mille. The spider within the movement, also in 18K white gold and delicately set with diamonds, forms an integral part of the movement, with the abdomen of the spider actually supporting the bridges of the tourbillon, and its legs supporting the two winding barrels.

As part of a world tour to celebrate 275 years of history, Jaquet Droz brings the Enchanted Journey Exhibit this fall to the Tourbillon boutique located on the second level of The Shops at Crystals.
After tremendous success in Moscow, Basel, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Macau, the Jaquet Droz masterpieces will soon arrive in the US, allowing this sophisticated audience to appreciate all the facets of Swiss watchmaking and understand how the brand manages to preserve its heritage.
This journey through time sheds light on the relationship between Classic 18th century and contemporary works. Timeless icons, unique automatas and exclusive models from its artistic workshop, reveal the beauty of hand engraved and miniature painted legendary timepieces. The most innovative timekeeping mechanisms sit side-by-side with the simple elegance of enamel or the luster of precious stones and pearls, and magnificent minerals used in custom-made dials.
For the amazement of visitors, on opening day, a Jaquet Droz’ master artist will be demonstrating the skillful artistry of hand engraving and miniature painting on watch dials at the Tourbillon Boutique.
These most outstanding Jaquet Droz creations can be admired from September 30th to November 12th, 2014, after which they will travel to the Middle East and Europe
Two iconic designers, two very different styles... Both rule the runway at London Fashion Week! From the laid back Summer stripes of Paul Smith to the rock n' roll, Studio-54 style of Tom Ford - Spring/Summer 2015 Collections portray a wide variety that we are completely obsessed with!
Paul Smith's aesthetic is all about the stripe, the floral and the office chic looks. With a palette full of taupes, light blues and blush roses, Smith had to keep things interesting as he turned to fringes, tuxedo lapels and drop hems. Adding touches of feminity throughout with panels of sheer silk on skirts and blouses, pink and blue stripes on fringed tank tops, and flowy dresses with pleated and dropped hems that are perfect for Summer.
While on the complete oppostie side of the spectrum, Tom Ford presents a risque, sexy, rocker-chic collection full of black leather, dark sequins, blocky heels, opaque tights, flaired pants with messy teased hair and sunburst pasties... yes, we said pasties! Models strutted down the runway in second-skin pantsuits, skirts so short you can see the top of the stockings and sheer, sheer and more sheer everywhere! In true Tom Ford fashion, his "message continues to be that you can write your own rules."

Hello Kitty turns 40 this year and she’s getting pearls.
Lucky for her, though, they aren’t just any random, lustrous spherical masses; instead they are from the creator of cultured pearls, Mikimoto. The brand’s Crystals boutique is one of four stores to debut the Hello Kitty x Mikimoto collection this month. Inspired by Kitty White’s signature red ribbon, 11 pieces are available to us girls who can’t get enough of the cat, (or girl, depending on if you believe recent reports that HK is not a feline but instead a little girl).
Favorites include the 7 mm Akoya cultured pearl pendant with a red enamel bow set in 18-karat white gold, the 6 mm Akoya cultured pearl earrings with yellow enamel bows set in 18-karat white gold and the 6 mm Akoya cultured pearl bangle set in sterling silver, available in small, medium and large.
Load up on these precious baubles and then hop to Los Angeles for a grand celebration during the first Hello Kitty Con, October 30 to November 2, at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA. Coinciding with this, there will be a special exhibit at the Japanese American National Museum called Hello! Exploring the Supercute World of Hello Kitty (October 11-April 26, 2015). Koreatown’s Line Hotel will feature special Hello Kitty packages and room amenities and host her big birthday bash on November 1. Vanguard chef Roy Choi will even offer a Hello Kitty SPAM® Musubi through the hotel’s room service menu.
She may entering her fourth decade, but she doesn’t look a day over 5 years old and she is worth billions … what more could a girl ask for? Pearls, you say? She’s got those, too! It is good to be the top cat after all.
