FOUR SPRING '16 TRENDS

Milan has a fresh crop of designers taking its storied houses to new heights. Alessandro Michele at Gucci, Peter Dundas at Roberto Cavalli and Massimo Giorgetti are just a few of the new names breathing life into the Italian fashion capital, and producing the trends you'll be living by come Spring 2015.

Sheer Detailing

Shed your winter coats and show a little skin in the Spring with sheer detailing showing up all over the runways.

The Lady's Suit

The time for matching separates has arrived and the lady's suit was incarnated in different silhouettes for Spring. Take your pick between cigarette pants, skirts suits or loose and flowy lines.

Animal Print

While it has long been in the fashion conscious as a new neutral, animal prints were incarnated in radical color ways and over-the-top pieces for Spring with Donatella Versace leading the charge with her acid colored mini dresses and pant suits.

Pajama-Inspired Pants

Rejoice in the newest fit for pants. Loose and flowy bottoms took over the runway as a relief to the skinny jean.

15 AFTER LABOR DAY LOOKS

We’ve all heard the age old fashion rule: No White After Labor Day. But where does this decree come from and does it still apply in 2015? Many attribute it to polite society leaving their heavy, dark clothes in the city when they left for summer vacations (think the NYC to the Hamptons crowd). But these days “winter white” is definitely a thing, and while we’re not advocating a full linen suit in October, here are 15 white looks that’ll last long past Labor Day.
